A baby changes everything

Well, I had my baby girl. In fact she is squirming on my lap right now (and farting/pooping).

It was a difficult birth - but beautiful also. 27+ hours of unmedicated labor ending in an emergency C-section. The baby suffered a few complications, but thankfully they all resolved by the next day.

She is healthy, happy (especially since she is pooping), and totally adored by the entire family (especially her by her big sister).

She keeps me soo soo busy, but is the most wonderful thing I have ever experienced. I knew I would love being a "mom" , but it is even better than I had imagined.

I am so grateful to our Almighty God for giving this most precious gift.
